Geo-spatial analysis of surface fluvial processes

Surface fluvial processes is a major earth surface process that has its importance in alteration, creation & development of landforms. Recent development of geo-spatial tools (GIS & Remote Sensing) boosts a lot to inquire the magnitudes of earth surface processes, especially surface fluvial processes such as surface runoff, soil loss, & sediment yield. These surface processes can give a broad understanding about the true mechanism of fluvial geomorphic events and inherent processes. Recently human interventions in natural systems rose extremely, under these circumstances the magnitude of surface processes increase significantly. To estimate the magnitude these earth surface processes geo-spatial tools become one of the well recognise platform. With the help of geo-spatial tools the chorological and chronicle variations of the mentioned geomorphic processes accurately and precisely extracted with consideration of human interventions. Thus, the geo-spatial tools can play a major role in environment & resource conservation practices by providing the information of land & nature degradation caused due to various surface processes under the circumstances of natural or human intervened.
