Spanische Varietäten- und Soziolinguistik

This textbook provides students of Hispanistic studies with an up-to-date overview of Spanish varieties and sociolinguistics, focusing on new methods from the fields of perception and discourse linguistics, as well as how speakers use the characteristics of linguistic variation to position themselves agentively. These methods are applied to Andalusian as a case study. The volume also includes a section containing practical exercises and solutions.
